Denmark's long-serving monarch celebrates her 75th birthday today but began celebrating last night courtesy of a glittering gala dinner attended by crowned heads from all over Europe.
Among them was the Netherlands' Queen Maxima (left), Spain's Queen Letizia (centre left) and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians (right). Her own family, including Crown Prince Frederik and his Australian-born wife Mary (centre right), also attended.
