Chelsea have beaten Arsenal and Marseille to Chile ace Charles Aranguiz, according to The Times.
Marseille were keen on the Internacional midfielder but were told the Premier League champions have already agreed a deal.
Internacional own 70 per cent of the rights to Aranguiz, who starred for Chile in their run to Copa America success.
And the Blues are not set to press on with sorting out terms on his contract.
